Ida Holm

The start of something new

Ida Holm is the name of the young Danish artist originally from Thisted in Jutland. Ida Holm became really well known among the Danes when she, along with her boyfriend, Mads, participated in the popular, Danish lifestyle TV show called Nybyggerne back in 2019. Here, the couple became especially known for their Japanese-inspired graphic style trends that caught the attention of the Danish viewers so much, that the couple later won the show and thus a newly built house. Since then, they have launched three brands consisting of ceramics and posters – all together on one website.

About Ida Holm

Ida Holm was raised in the northern Jutland town of Thisted, and later went to the Danish capital, Copenhagen to study as a graphic designer at the School of Media and Journalism in Denmark. Her studies have given her a keen sense of design for posters and prints. As she herself describes it, her works are associated with a state full of freedom and with inspiration from the living life. Therefore, her works, including posters, linoleum prints and illustrations, are a testimony to the authenticity of real, solid craftmanship. Ida Holm embraces small printing errors and the importance of waiting for paintings to dry. Due to this, you will find posters of carefully considered art pieces with motifs that speak to everyone here at Permild & Rosengreen. See for example “Sunday morning table blue” which showcases a typical family morning situation. And do not forget the icing on top, and buy the poster with a beautiful wooden frame by own choice.
