Ornithology for children
Sebastian Klein is the name of the Danish-born actor, TV host, author and lecturer. He was born in 1972 and grew up in the Danish metropolis, Copenhagen, on Amager. Klein is ornithologist, but in 1996 he was contacted by the Danish television channel Denmark’s Radio (DR) with a job offer. DR’s Children’s and Youth Department asked him to host a new animal program. Klein gladly accepted the offer, and this job was the start of a long and successful career in the television world. One of the programs Klein is perhaps best known for is the TV series Nature Patrol, in which he played Dr. Pjuskebusk. Since then, he has also participated numerous children’s programs both on televisions and on radio. However, he has not only served as a host and actor in these programs, but also as a screenwriter, which he still is today. He has thus, in several different ways, managed to take on a title as one of Denmark’s leading nature intermediaries for children.
